#NaPhoPoMo Day 29: Focus with Photographs

When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.
— Ansel Adams

This is my second to the last post for November's National Photo Posting Month (NaPhoPoMo) and while my head's lifted a little higher for the gains, there are a few things yet to accomplish.

I had hoped this challenge would nudge me closer to using my big girl cameras (Leica V-Lux and Nikon D70) as well as Photoshop and Lightroom. It turns out that I've taken most of the shots with my Leica, but still prefer to edit them on my phone. Bizarre. Perhaps in the near future, I'll challenge myself to do a month of DSLR photos only.

Another plus, I've learned to use more Squarespace features and found that switching browsers (from Safari to Firefox) prevented any exasperating (!!) crashes. I discovered with several dietary 30 day challenges, that I can do just about anything consistently, for a month. It's also amazing to find that many of the habits I acquired in just one month, have become permanent.

That leads me to think that I'd better get comfortable with Photoshop or Lightroom before I challenge myself to take DSLR photos only. I can't be taking them to my iPhone to crop and edit now, can I? May I?
